Would you like to learn new creative skills in a friendly, enjoyable environment? Join us at IADT for Print Matters: An Introduction to Zine Making and Bookbinding, welcoming you to learn something new and engage your creativity with hands-on making.  

Across four practical workshops in May and June, you will... 

• Create zines and pamphlets/books using different binding and folding methods 
• Select printed forms to best suit different content 
• Place printed matter in context, such as DIY and counter-culture history 
• Experiment with methods of sharing and distributing writing, ideas and artworks through printed matter  

You will learn and make with support from our experienced tutor, Mel Galley, in a community environment, in a community environment. There is no prior experience needed for this course – all that is required is curiosity!  

Where? Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) 

When? 20th May, 27th May, 3rd June, 10th June - Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm
