The short animation highlights the long-term changes observed across our climate system and presents the scientific evidence of a warming world in an engaging and accessible way.

As part of this innovative collaboration, second-year Animation students worked closely with Met Éireann climate scientists over a 12-week period to develop a series of educational STEAM (Science, Technology, Engingeering, Arts and Mathematics) videos.   The project provided students with the opportunity to combine creative storytelling with scientific research, translating complex climate concepts into compelling visual narratives.

The partnership demonstrates the value of interdiscolinary collaboration and showcases how animation can play an important role in communicating important environmental and scientific messages to wider audiences.

This collaboration highlights the exceptional talent of IADT students and their ability to apply creative practice to real-world challenges, producing work that informs, inspires and engages audiences on one of the most important issues of our time.
