The TrustEd Ireland mark, granted by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) following a robust evaluation exercise, is a formal acknowledgement that IADT meets rigorous national benchmarks in the provision of education to our international students.
Being authorised to use the TrustEd quality mark highlights IADT’s strong quality assurance systems, its student-focused supports and its ongoing commitment to fostering strong international partnerships and collaborations. The award affirms the Institute’s global outlook and dedication to creating a welcoming and high-quality academic environment for learners from around the world.
Internationalisation is a cornerstone of the IADT Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028, towards a university for the Creative Industries, through which we are actively expanding our global reach through additional international partnerships and a focused effort on attracting international students and staff to IADT and developing the necessary support infrastructure.
Mr David Smith, IADT President, described the achievement of TrustEd as “a strong endorsement of IADT’s provision of education to international learners, that it reinforces the Institute’s position as a quality provider of education to Irish and international learners and strengthens the Institute’s global reputation”.
The recognition further reflects IADT’s emphasis on academic distinction, creative innovation and ensuring students are well prepared for professional careers or further study both in Ireland and overseas, after graduation.
