This year DIFF are partnering with ESB to deliver a filmmaking opportunity for filmmakers aged 18-28 in Ireland. It is a creative opportunity for young Irish screenwriters / filmmakers, to publicly pitch for a competitive prize. The successful filmmaking team will be awarded an €18k film budget + professional consultations to realise a short film based on ESB's creative proposal. This proposal is:
"Powering Possibility: exploring how electricity, energy and innovation enable everyday life, connection, creativity and greater future opportunity - not just through infrastructure, but through people, ideas and communities."
