Hands-on entomological workshop in the IADT orchard. Explore insects and invertebrates, learn about the garden’s hidden history

Nessa Darcy will be facilitating a creative entomological workshop on Tuesday April 14th from 10 - 1 in the orchard. Participants will be guided through the orchard as a habitat for invertebrates, mapping the tiny lives they find during this interactive workshop.

A garden can be read for all the small decisions that shaped it, and insects are great indicators of these. The garden is full of history, lived experience, and wisdom we can learn from if we know how to look for and understand its invertebrates. We'll create concertina books recording what we learn from exploring the garden.
