Join us on Sunday 1st March at 1pm in Light House Cinema 1 for a special 35mm screening of the classic anti‑nuclear war film When the Wind Blows, followed by a panel discussion honouring the remarkable career of Dublin‑based animator and director Jimmy Murakami.

We are delighted to announce our panel: Ethna Murakami, Iain Harvey (Producer), Cathal Gaffney (Brown Bag Films), Sophie Quin (FilmEU - European University / IADT) & Steve Woods (Filmmaker & Author), moderated by Michael Connerty (IADT).

This event is a highlight of DIFF 2026 and a fitting tribute to one of the most influential figures in Irish and international animation.
